Vanessa is a software developer by profession, but her love for jazz comes from her background as a professional saxophonist and educator. Now, she contributes to the community both as the co-owner of Caffè Vivace and the president of Jazz Vivace.
Brent Gallaher
Artistic Director | Board | Founder
Brent Gallaher is a respected saxophonist and jazz enthusiast in Cincinnati, Ohio, For the past several years has focused his passion for jazz towards nurturing Cincinnati's jazz community by founding and running a jazz-first listening venue, Caffè Vivace.
Sonya Foster
Hospitality Director | Board
Sonya Foster is an Administrative Secretary at The University of Cincinnati. She is an avid jazz
fan and loves live music. She considers Caffe Vivace her "happy place."
Peter Sullivan
Board Member
Peter Sullivan is a real estate entrepreneur who discovered and developed a deep love for Jazz in Chicago's robust scene. Caffè Vivace has been a sanctuary for Peter to experience premier jazz talent in an intimate setting. He is a graduate of Miami University and holds a M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management.
Robert Meisinger
Board Member
Robert Meisinger is a Senior Project Engineer at Jones & Henry and an avid jazz fan.
Sylvester Little Jr

Sylvester Little Jr, or as he is know to our jazz family, Sly, is an actor for the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. A native of Birmingham, AL, Sylvester's other artistic passions include writing poetry, and performing spoken word.
